STONE CADAVER - ST

Got this one around Christmas and liked it quite a bit. But I just listened to it for the third time and it really clicked. This Danish trio have treated bandcamp to a real late season gem. Chances are you've heard it and downloaded it but there may be a few stragglers out there to whom I say, listen to the player below. At 4 songs and 29 minutes this is a substantial bowl of stoner sludge gumbo as E.P.'s go. Stone Cadaver's sound is not entirely unlike Shroud Eater, with a little bit of Wasted Theory peeking through the cracks. The best part about it is this E.P. is available as PAY-WHAT-YOU-WANT download. This is a must hear, if not a must have for any stoner / sludge / doom fanatic.
